Painter Cattle is a small, family-operated ranch in the foothills of central California. We specialize in raising and promoting the Red Wagyu, or Akaushi, breed of cattle that orginated in Japan. We believe that Akaushi genetics can improve meat quality, calving ease and hybrid vigor in every herd.
